Acupuncture/dry needling includes the insertion of small, fine needles on various locations (acupoints) that correspond to different organs and systems of the body in order to provide pain relief. In addition to pain relief, acupuncture is used for stress relief and can be very beneficial for anxiety and depression, among other ailments.
Jeff Luker LAc, MSAOM is a Nationally Certified Acupuncturist. NCCAOM-(National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). He graduated with honors and received a Master’s Degree in 2009 from the Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in his hometown of Austin, Texas. Knowing that Oklahoma had very few qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners, he began practicing in Tulsa, where he specializes in pain management.
In addition to TCM, he is a strong advocate of following the Paleo Diet, eating and growing local foods and herbs, and living an active outdoor lifestyle.
Luker intends to continue treating and educating his local community with this ancient, yet elegant medical system.
Jeff and Nina (Owner of Madsen Massage) worked together years ago at a massage clinic in Tulsa where they were both employees back in 2010.
*Note from Nina - Jeff is one of the most qualified acupuncturists practicing in Tulsa today. He is extremely educated, passionate and patient-centered. Years ago when we worked together, I witnessed him help numerous patients, and have experienced acupuncture from Jeff. We became great friends, shared similar interests in complementary and alternative medicine and a love for anatomy, physiology and how massage, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine be a huge asset in a patient’s health.
